Amman, Jordan (August 2026) – Run Jordan announced the upgrade of its race registration system and its integration with Jordan’s Civil Status and Passports Department, as part of its efforts to ensure the accuracy and validity of runners’ information, streamline registration procedures, and advance the digitalization of its services in line with the government’s broader digital transformation efforts.

The upgraded system enables more accurate and efficient verification of participants’ information, enhancing the runners’ experience from the registration stage while improving the efficiency of organizational procedures across Run Jordan’s races.

Alongside this development, Run Jordan announced the opening of registration for the 2026 Bromine Amman Marathon, scheduled to take place on Friday, October 2, 2026, inviting runners from Jordan and abroad to register and take part in one of the Kingdom’s leading annual sporting events.

Registration for this year’s edition also follows the Amman Marathon’s achievement of an international classification, marking an important milestone that strengthens the race’s position on the international road running calendar and reflects Run Jordan’s continued efforts to develop the event in accordance with international standards and enhance its organizational and technical excellence.

Ms. Lina El Kurd, General Manager of Run Jordan, emphasized that upgrading the registration system represents an important step in the association’s digital transformation journey and its commitment to providing runners with a smoother and more efficient experience. She noted that integrating the system with the Civil Status and Passports Department will enhance data accuracy and further develop the organizational processes supporting Run Jordan’s events.

El Kurd extended her appreciation to the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship for its cooperation and support in facilitating the integration, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between national institutions in advancing digital services and leveraging technology to enhance the quality and efficiency of services provided to the public.

El Kurd added that the Amman Marathon’s international classification represents an important milestone in the race’s journey and gives the 2026 edition particular significance. She expressed Run Jordan’s enthusiasm for welcoming runners from Jordan and around the world on October 2 for a sporting experience that reflects the continued development of road running in the Kingdom.
