The genocidal state of Israel carved a militarized kill zone into Gaza’s land, targeting farmers, children and displaced families inside a colonial perimeter imposed by military decree. Fateh’s Reformist Democratic Faction affirms that our right to life, land and movement stands at the center of our national struggle against Israel’s machinery of genocide and ethnic cleansing.

Dimitri Diliani, Fateh’s Reformist Democratic Faction’s Spokesperson, said: “In December 2025, the genocidal Israeli military designated a 1.1 kilometer ‘security perimeter’ along Gaza’s eastern and northern borders, swallowing 58 square kilometers, roughly 16% of the Gaza Strip.”

Diliani added: “Al Mezan Center cross-referenced satellite boundary mapping, Israeli military claims of thwarted infiltration attempts and morgue intake records. Between January and May 2026, Israeli forces shot and killed 142 of our people inside this zone. Family identifications and autopsies identified 67% as scrap metal collectors, farmers checking land or children. Only 3 of the 142 were found with personal weapons.”

Diliani stated: “A 3D spatial analysis by the Palestinian Centre for Human Rights placed the median fatality point 340 meters from the perimeter fence, far from any verified infiltration corridor. Israel killed 1.8 Palestinians per square kilometer of the ‘buffer zone’ each month earlier this year.”

Fateh’s Reformist Democratic Faction asserts the necessity of dismantling Israel’s killing zone regime, securing protection for civilians, and imposing accountability on every Israeli military commander and political official who orders, authorizes or shields killings on our land.
