Benjamin Netanyahu’s government has intensified its genocidal attacks on shelters housing Palestinians forcibly displaced from their homes and on medicine warehouses across Gaza, undermining efforts to implement the ceasefire agreement and end the genocide.
“On Aug. 1 and 2, the genocidal Israeli army killed at least 27 of our people,” said Dimitri Diliani, spokesperson for Fateh’s Reformist Democratic Faction. “Fatalities included Mahmoud and Fatima Al Hams and their daughter; Abdullah Abu Taif, his pregnant wife, Abeer Anan, and their 5-year-old son, Azzam; and Kamal and Huda Abu Muailiq.”
“The official update yesterday counted 73,356 killed and 174,185 wounded in the state of Israel’s genocide since October 2023; 1,230 were killed and 4,076 wounded since the October 11, 2025, ceasefire,” Diliani stated.
“Trump’s Board of Peace presented a 15-point roadmap in Cairo talks mediated by Egypt, Qatar and Türkiye. It covered disarmament, Israeli withdrawal and Palestinian governance. Reuters reported Hamas accepting it and the state of Israel rejected it before Trump’s July 30 announcement. On Aug. 2, Israeli Energy Minister Eli Cohen said there was no deal to halt Israeli military attacks on Gaza; Netanyahu spokesman Doron Spielman ruled out any steps to decelerate the attacks on civilians. Netanyahu enforced the state of Israel’s rejection to halt the Gaza genocide with murderous bombardment to preserve his bloodthirsty failed governing coalition.”
Fateh’s Reformist Democratic Faction will work day and night with mediators to stop the Israeli genocide, implement the roadmap and secure the genocidal Israeli army’s withdrawal from Gaza.
