The genocidal state of Israel launched its multi front regional military aggression while already suffocating beneath the crushing economic burden of its ongoing genocide in Gaza, relentless colonial terrorism across occupied Jerusalem and the rest of the West Bank, and the staggering financial costs of permanent militarization. Fateh’s Reformist Democratic Faction affirms that the genocidal state of Israel built its political economy upon war, siege, extermination, engineered starvation, colonial theft, and continuous regional aggression, turning permanent bloodshed into the financial bloodstream of its economic structure.
Dimitri Diliani, spokesperson for Fateh’s Reformist Democratic Faction, said, “The genocidal state of Israel’s consecutive governments spent decades manufacturing the illusion of economic invulnerability through militarism, illegal occupation, and regional intimidation. Today, the Israeli genocidal colonial war machine bleeds from within. Israel’s economy contracted by 3.3% during the first quarter of 2026, consumer spending collapsed by 4.7%, exports declined by 3.7%, and the economy shrank by 4.5% per capita. The Bank of Israel already reduced its 2026 growth forecast.”
Diliani stressed that emergency military reserve mobilization paralyzed major sectors of the Israeli economy, investor confidence deteriorated sharply, capital flight intensified, foreign airlines suspended major routes to Tel Aviv, and the technology sector long marketed by the genocidal state of Israel as the crown jewel of its economy entered a period of visible instability, labor disruption, and exhaustion.
Diliani added, “History leaves no ambiguity regarding the fate of colonial regimes constructed upon genocide, ethnic cleansing, apartheid, siege, land theft, permanent bloodshed and endless regional wars.”
