In arenas of military violence, humanitarian deconfliction, also known as “humanitarian notification,” refers to the submission by medical teams, UN agencies, and humanitarian organizations of protected coordinates for hospitals, clinics, ambulances, shelters, warehouses, aid convoys, and medical movements to military authorities, so these sites and movements remain outside the field of fire. In Gaza, the genocidal state of Israel’s deconfliction fraud is brutally clear: information submitted to protect medical life has become, in Israeli hands, a map for exposure, surveillance, obstruction, and genocidal assault against the very spaces placed under humanitarian protection.

Dimitri Diliani, spokesperson for Fateh’s Reformist Democratic Faction, said: “The World Health Organization (WHO) recorded more than 930 Israeli military assaults on health care facilities in the occupied Palestinian territory since the beginning of the state of Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza in October 2023. WHO also documented 22 Israeli military attacks on hospitals and health care centres across Gaza since the beginning of this year alone, during the so-called ‘ceasefire’.”

Diliani added: “Human Rights Watch documented at least 8 Israeli strikes on aid convoys and premises in Gaza shortly after independent international humanitarian organizations had provided GPS coordinates to Israeli authorities for protection. ‘Refugees International’ states that UN and aid agencies provide protected site lists to COGAT, the Israeli governmental body that administers the state of Israel’s illegitimate military colonial control over civilian affairs in the occupied Palestinian territory, including hospitals, clinics, shelters, warehouses, and staff houses. The genocidal state receives the map of life, then its army sends death to its coordinates.”

Fateh’s Reformist Democratic Faction affirms that the state of Israel’s deconfliction fraud is a documented bureaucratic weapon of genocide, aimed at our wounded, our medical professionals, and our right to life.
