Washington is attempting to bind U.S. defense technology to the state of Israel’s genocidal war machine at a moment when the American public is moving sharply against unrestricted weapons transfers. The U.S. House version of the 2027 National Defense Authorization Act carries Section 224, titled the “United States Israel Defense Technology Cooperation Initiative,” a provision designed to shift U.S. support for the genocidal state of Israel from weapons aid into military technological fusion.
Dimitri Diliani, spokesperson for Fateh’s Reformist Democratic Faction, said: “House Armed Services Committee Chairman Mike Rogers, listed by Track AIPAC as a $957,427 recipient of Israel lobby money, and Ranking Member Adam Smith, listed as having received more than $329,000 from AIPAC and its pro genocide allies, are driving a provision that would bind U.S. defense technology to the state of Israel’s colonial terror, genocide, and ethnic cleansing across research, development, testing, evaluation, industrial cooperation, network integration, and data fusion.”
Diliani added: “Section 224’s reach includes artificial intelligence, quantum systems, autonomous weapons, cyber, directed energy, and biotechnology. The United States has already supplied the genocidal state of Israel with more than $200 billion in inflation adjusted military assistance since the establishment of the genocidal state 78 years ago.”
The spokesperson stressed that, according to a May 19 Institute for Global Affairs poll, 62% of Americans clearly reject the blank check weapons policy demanded by pro genocide Zionist donor networks, while Washington’s Israel First Epstein class tramples the American public to deepen the arsenal of the state of Israel’s genocide.
Fateh’s Reformist Democratic Faction affirms that this proposed military industrial fusion with the genocidal state of Israel constitutes a grave moral and strategic danger. Its removal from the National Defense Authorization Act, known as the NDAA, is necessary to block the state of Israel’s genocide from being irreversibly embedded inside the machinery of U.S. defense policy, technology, and procurement.
