Amman, Jordan (May 31, 2026) – Run Jordan has confirmed that preparations are progressing steadily for the 5th edition of the Bromine Women’s Race, scheduled to take place on Friday, June 12, 2026, under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Safa bint Firas at Al Hussein Public Parks with the slogan “Run for You.” The event will be held, who will officially start the race and honor the winners during the closing ceremony. The race is organized by Run Jordan and the Greater Amman Municipality in cooperation with the Jordan Athletics Federation, with Bromine Jordan as the Main Sponsor and Arab Bank as the Gold Sponsor, in addition to the Jordan Tourism Board, Ghadeer Water, Zain, Aramex, Al Dayaa, Al Qayser Pizza, Siniora, sports partner RizeUp Sports Complex, and several supporting entities.

The event is organized as part of Run Jordan’s ongoing efforts, under the chairmanship of His Royal Highness Prince Firas bin Raad, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Run Jordan, to promote women’s participation in sports and encourage healthier and more active lifestyles, while providing a platform that celebrates women’s achievements and contributions to society.

Run Jordan stated that organizational and logistical preparations are moving forward according to plan, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants. Coordination efforts continue with various partners and stakeholders to guarantee the readiness of the race venue, routes, and supporting services.

Run Jordan also confirmed that registration remains open and encouraged women and girls to register and take part in this unique sporting and community event, which has become an annual platform celebrating women’s health, wellbeing, and active role in society.

The race will feature two distances: 2.6 km and 5.2 km. The 2.6 km race is designated for girls aged 8–14 years, as part of Run Jordan’s commitment to encouraging younger generations to adopt sports and physical activity from an early age.

Run Jordan further confirmed that 20% of registration fees from this year’s race will be allocated to support families in Gaza through the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization, reflecting the event’s humanitarian dimension alongside its sporting and community mission.

Ms. Lina El Kurd, General Manager of Run Jordan, emphasized that the Bromine Women’s Race continues to fulfill its mission of encouraging women to embrace a healthy and active lifestyle. She highlighted that the sustained interest in registration reflects the growing prominence of the event and its increasing appeal among women and girls across various age groups.

El Kurd added that the race is more than a sporting event; it is a platform that brings together sport, health, and community engagement while inspiring women and girls to make physical activity a part of their everyday lives.
