The genocidal state of Israel has weaponized Gaza’s ceasefire into an instrument of starvation, siege rule, and colonial domination. Fateh’s Reformist Democratic Faction affirms that the state of Israel’s starvation policy is a deliberate assault on our people’s right to live, recover, and survive on our homeland.

Dimitri Diliani, member of the Revolutionary Council and spokesperson for Fateh’s Reformist Democratic Faction, stated: “The state of Israel’s genocidal army bombs our homes, and its military bureaucracy manufactures starvation through control of Gaza’s crossings, systematic aid obstruction, and enforcement of a genocidal siege. The Integrated Food Security Phase Classification, the global hunger-monitoring system known as IPC, projects that through this month alone at least 132,000 Palestinian children under 5 will suffer acute malnutrition, including over 41,000 severe cases, and nearly 55,500 Palestinian pregnant and breastfeeding women will require urgent nutrition response.”

Diliani added: “The genocidal state of Israel is attacking our ability to survive as families, communities, and a nation. Israeli policy has crushed Gaza’s food system, with only 1.5% of cropland available for cultivation, while the state of Israel’s genocidal machine keeps hospitals shattered and starvation rising.”

Fateh’s Reformist Democratic Faction affirms that Gaza’s starvation under ceasefire is Israeli genocide administered through siege, malnutrition, destroyed health care, and the calculated destruction of Palestinian life.
