𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟭𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The Israeli genocidal destruction of Gaza, as documented in the recent special issue of Le Monde diplomatique, Gaza: Witness, Understand, Resist, indicts a machinery of Israeli impunity, colonial domination, forced displacement, and international complicity targeting our people from the Nakba to the present Gaza genocide. Gaza’s ordeal stretches across decades of Israeli occupation, expulsion, military violence, and systematic efforts to erase Palestinian national existence.

Dimitri Diliani, Member of the Revolutionary Council and Spokesperson for Fateh’s Reformist Democratic Faction, said: “The documented record is merciless. Gaza has endured more than 72,500 killed, including 22,000 children, more than 170,000 wounded, 11,200 missing persons, more than 500 humanitarian workers killed, and the destruction of 92% of homes. These figures indict the war crimes committed by the genocidal state of Israel against our people in Gaza over the past two and a half years.”

Diliani added: “Gaza’s history is a continuous Palestinian struggle against Israeli ethnic cleansing, siege, and military occupation. Gaza received between 200,000 and 250,000 Palestinian civilians ethnically cleansed during the 1948 Nakba. During the state of Israel’s 1956 occupation of Gaza, between 930 and 1,200 Palestinian civilians were killed. After the 1967 war, the genocidal state of Israel expelled 75,000 Palestinians from Gaza and barred another 25,000 from returning to their homeland.”

Fateh’s Reformist Democratic Faction affirmed that decades of impunity enabled the genocidal state of Israel to violate 1,201 United Nations resolutions since 1947, sustain genocidal colonial domination, and deny our people the rights guaranteed under international law.
