𝗝𝗲𝗿𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗺, 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟭𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲
The genocidal state of Israel’s economic siege of occupied Jerusalem and the rest of the West Bank serves a wider project of ethnic cleansing, colonial settlement expansion, and permanent apartheid rule. It is driven by the messianic ideology now shaping the state of Israel’s societal values, endless wars and crimes against humanity.
Dimitri Diliani, Member of the Revolutionary Council and Spokesperson for Fateh’s Reformist Democratic Faction, said: “The apartheid state of Israel is stripping our people of wages, land, freedom of movement, and the basic means to survive on our homeland. A 30% unemployment rate in the occupied West Bank, permits revoked for most of nearly 200,000 workers, almost $400 million stolen from our national monthly income, and a 50% collapse in private business activity expose a calculated Israeli assault on bread, labor, dignity, and national survival. This is economic strangulation, an Israeli policy that strikes the worker, the family, the market, and the institution to weaken our people’s ability to live, work, and endure on our land.”
Diliani added: “This economic siege deepens the Israeli ethnic cleansing documented in Area C, where, between January 2023 and April 2026, more than 100 villages and 3 major refugee camps were fully or partially ethnically cleansed and more than 47,280 forced displacement war crimes were recorded. Every Israeli military checkpoint, permit order, revenue embezzlement, settlement road, and land seizure belongs to one Israeli design: tightening control over our people, severing communities from their land, and forcing Palestinian life into shrinking spaces of dependency and coercion.”
Fateh’s Reformist Democratic Faction affirmed that Israel’s economic warfare is a pillar of colonial domination, apartheid, dispossession, and ethnic cleansing in occupied Jerusalem and the rest of the West Bank.
