The genocidal state of Israel has already committed the decisive war crime in Gaza: it has forced 2.1 million Palestinian civilians, nearly the entire population of the Strip, into a concentration camp carved from less than 8% of Gaza’s landmass. The Israeli label of “freedom of movement” gives the next stage of ethnic cleansing a public vocabulary and presents forced removal as choice.
Dimitri Diliani, spokesperson for Fateh’s Reformist Democratic Faction, said: “Benjamin Netanyahu’s order to expand the genocidal Israeli army’s direct occupation of Gaza to 70% exposes the military design behind the concentration camp: territorial seizure, demographic compression, colonial domination, and deliberate unlivability.”
Diliani said: “This model is taken from the National Socialist German Workers’ Party playbook during the 1930s and 1940s, when confinement, registration, forced movement, and controlled space became instruments of the Holocaust.”
Fateh’s Reformist Democratic Faction affirms that liberation, return, accountability, and decolonization are the political answer to the Israeli concentration camp regime.
