American weapons reach the genocidal state of Israel through oversight limited to custody and storage. Their use in the Gaza genocide or the West Bank Apartheid escapes scrutiny. This complicit lack of weapons oversight is protection for Israeli mass killing, ethnic cleansing and colonial domination.
Dimitri Diliani, spokesperson for Fateh’s Reformist Democratic Faction, said: “The U.S. Government Accountability Office found that American agencies do not monitor how the genocidal state of Israel uses U.S. weapons, including use in crimes against humanity. The State Department received 617 reports of Israel genocidal crimes against Palestinian civilians from 2023 through December 2024 and completed no investigations into any of the reports it deemed credible.”
“The United States pledged the genocidal state of Israel $38 billion of U.S. taxpayers money in military aid for 2019 through 2028: $3.3 billion annually in military financing and $500 million for missile defense. In December 2023, it invoked emergency authority for $106.5 million in tank ammunition and $147.5 million in artillery shells, bypassing ordinary congressional review.”
Fateh’s Reformist Democratic Faction affirms that this complicit lack of oversight enables Israel’s genocidal army to deploy American taxpayers funded weapons against our children and deepens U.S. responsibility for the genocide in Gaza.
